PLANS to create a community micropub in Fradley have been approved.
The proposals would see the unit 7B at the Stirling Centre, currently occupied by the Bilash restaurant, converted.
The work would see the new Fisher Micropub Ltd outlet seat 40 to 50 people.
The application to Lichfield District Council for the change of use said the premises would retain the existing kitchen area to allow for bar snacks and occasional street food to be offered.
A statement said:
“The proposed use has been carefully designed to operate in a low-impact, community-oriented manner, ensuring compatibility with the surrounding area.
“The development will not give rise to unacceptable impacts and will provide a positive addition to the local area.”
