A Conservative member of Lichfield City Council has resigned.
Sara Pritchard had represented the Leomansley ward.
But members were told the councillor had stepped down due to “increased work commitments and changes to personal circumstances”.
She had previously drawn criticism after failing to attend a number of meetings.
No by-election is expected to take place with the vacancy set to be filled at the local elections in May.
