People in Burntwood can find out more about plans to use technology to increase library opening times at a consultation event in the town.
Staffordshire County Council is seeking views on proposals to introduce an automated system and alter the way the mobile library service operates.
The public event at Burntwood Library from 3pm to 6pm on February 27 will be a chance for people to find out more about the plans.
Cllr Gill Heath, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet member for communities, said: “We’ve spoken to the public a great deal in recent years about how best to keep all our libraries open and relevant to the communities they serve.
“We’re looking to take the next steps in that process and I’m delighted so many people have already been to find out more and contribute their thoughts to the process.
“There are still plenty of meetings to go and I would urge people who are interested to have their say in person or in writing.”
