A series of consultations are being launched to help determine future planning policies in Lichfield and Burntwood.
Lichfield District Council wants views from residents on the main modifications to its Local Plan Allocations document that have been recommended by the planning inspector.
The document covers issues such as housing and employment land allocations, as well as reviewing policies used to determine planning applications.
The first consultation runs from 19th December to 6th February, and will seek local views on the main modifications recommended following the public hearings in September.
Councillor Ian Pritchard, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Environment & Development Services, said: “It’s important that everyone gets engaged in the planning process and takes the time to look at our proposals and gives their views.”
The second consultation is on an updated version of the Statement of Community Involvement, which sets out when, why and with who the council will consult on local plans and planning applications.
A third one is on changes to the Sustainable Design Supplementary Planning Document, which gives guidance on how sustainable development can be achieved through new development.
Both of these consultations from from 2nd January to 1st February 2019.
