COUNCIL chiefs say evidence is being investigated in the hunt for those behind a fly-tipping incident near Alrewas.
The pile of waste was dumped on Daisy Lane on Monday (23rd June).
Cllr Alex Farrell, cabinet member at Lichfield District Council, said the rubbish had been analysed in a bid to track down the culprits.
“This incident was reported to the council and our environmental health officers have been out to investigate.
“Evidence has been found at the location which they are following up on.
“Fly-tipping is unsightly, causes disruption and is costly for the landowner to clear up. This criminality will not be tolerated and our officers are determined to find out who is responsible and prosecute them.”
