COUNCIL chiefs say crews are still working to catch up on missed bin collections.
A number of locations were missed due to snow and ice, but Lichfield District Council said efforts to reschedule routes will continue today (12th January).
A spokesperson for the local authority said:
“We’re really sorry if your bin was missed. Following snowfall last week, our crews have been working hard to recover collections, but each missed day means around 16,000 bins need to be caught up alongside scheduled rounds.
“If your bin was missed, please leave it out.”
