A COUNCILLOR is asking residents for their views on parking and road safety issues in Lichfield.
Cllr Matthew Wallens said he was keen to hear from local people around the Curborough Road and Gaia Lane junction, along with those from Beacon Street and Anson Avenue.
The Reform UK representative for Lichfield City North said the views of residents were needed on pedestrian safety, traffic movement, visibility and general road safety.
He said:
"I have received concerns regarding parking, traffic and road safety in these areas, and I want to make sure residents have a straightforward opportunity to share their experiences directly with me.
These surveys are about gathering views and building an accurate picture of any concerns. They do not prejudge what action, if any, may ultimately be appropriate.
"Once the responses have been received, I will consider the issues raised and, where appropriate, raise relevant concerns with Staffordshire County Council officers and other responsible organisations.
"Any potential changes would, of course, need to be considered through the appropriate processes and would be subject to the relevant assessments, priorities and available resources.
"I would encourage anyone who lives in, walks through or regularly drives along these roads to take a few minutes to complete the relevant survey."
Residents near the Curborough Road and Gaia Lane junction can comment here, while those with around Beacon Street and Anson Avenue can also complete a survey here.
