A COUNCILLOR is asking people to help shape the future of the local bus network.
Cllr Janet Higgins, Reform UK representative for Lichfield Rural West at Staffordshire County Council, said the input was needed as part of a “comprehensive review” of services.
Locals are being asked to share their views with her as part of the project.
She said:
“Staffordshire County Council is commencing a comprehensive review of the bus network across the county.
“This review will look at how well the current service meets the needs of our communities, identify gaps and explore ways to improve accessibility, reliability and value for passengers.
“As part of this process councillors have been asked to share knowledge and community insight to help shape the recommendations. I would really welcome input as local experiences and views matter.
“Let’s make sure our villages have the strong, reliable bus links they deserve.”
