Changes to committees at Lichfield District Council will be decided next week.
A report to a meeting of the local authority said that Cllr Sonia Wilcox would be moved from overview and scrutiny to sit on the planning committee.
Her Conservative colleague, Cllr Nikki Hawkins, will go on the opposite direction under the proposals.
The changes will be decided at the council meeting tomorrow (16th April).
