Youngsters will be able to enjoy a half-term craft session in Lichfield.
The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee tomorrow (June 7) with a Jubilee Japes event.
Children of all ages will be able to make a crown fit for a Queen – or King!
Jubilee Japes will take place from 10.30am to 1.30pm and each child can create their own colourful crown with glittering jewels and a fur trim. The workshops are drop-in and cost £2 per child.
Joanne Wilson from the Birthplace Museum said: “Samuel Johnson may have said that patriotism was the last refuge of a scoundrel, but we hope the children attending our fun activity will use their imaginations to design crowns to make them feel like royalty in this Jubilee week.”
