THE Darwin Society is launching its new programme of talks this month.
The group, which has been running for more than 25 years, hosts speakers on topics including tidal power, population and stoicism.
Meetings are held from 7.30pm to 9pm in the Lunar Room at Erasmus Darwin House on the last Wednesday of each month, starting on 30th September.
A spokesperson said:
"There is no membership fee – we just invite you to make a £5 donation for a glass of wine or fruit juice and to cover our costs.
"Come and join us at our next meeting to explore the issue of how many humans Earth can support."
