THE poetic passions of Erasmus Darwin will be discussed at a Lunar Lecture in Lichfield.
Prof Paul Elliott will be the guest as the series continues on 8th April.
A spokesperson said:
“This talk takes a close look at some of Darwin’s poems, showing how and why it was venerable oaks he chose to represent his poetical passions inspired by knowledge and experience of regional woodlands.”
The talk takes place at Erasmus Darwin House at 7pm. Tickets are £10 from erasmusdarwin.org.
