A decision on whether to allow holiday lodges to be built on a former golf course in Armitage has been deferred.
Lichfield District Council’s planning committee had been due to make a decision on the proposals for the former Hawkesyard Estate course, which closed in 2017.
But the application for ten new holiday lodges will now be decided at a later date.
Planning committee chairman Cllr Thomas Marshall told the meeting:
“Concerns have been raised by the legal department in regards to non-compliance with Community Infrastructure Levy regulations which need to be addressed before the council can proceed with determination of the application.”

A planning officer’s report had previously recommended the scheme be given the green light.
