Trains on the West Coast Main Line through Lichfield Trent Valley have been delayed due to overhead line problems.

The incident happened this afternoon (31st January) and ticket acceptance has been put in place on alternative routes.
Disruption is expected to continue for the remainder of the day.
Among those hit by the issue is Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant who said his trip back to Lichfield had been redirected via Birmingham New Street and the cross-city line.
