POLICE have put a dispersal order in place around Chasewater Country Park in a bid to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Under the measures – which operate between today (10th July) and 4pm on Sunday – the Section 34 order gives officers the power to move people on from the area. Those who refuse to comply could face arrest.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

"It comes after we received numerous reports of young people targeting the area and causing damage.

"We have also received reports of vehicles being driven anti-socially and dangerously."
