A CAR has been seized on the M6 Toll after the driver was found to be disqualified.
Officers said the vehicle had only been purchased the day before it was pulled over on 2nd May.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said:
“It was a brand new purchase, but the excitement didn’t last long.
“The driver took it onto the M6 Toll this morning and soon caught our attention at well over the speed limit.
“A quick check revealed he was already disqualified from driving, so instead of enjoying that new car feeling the vehicle is now in a recovery garage.
“The vehicle was seized and the driver reported for multiple offences.”
