ALREWAS played out a nail-biting tie at home with Ockbrook and Borrowash.
After being sent in to bat first, the Herons made a strong start, reaching 148-2 inside 26 overs, before quick wickets saw them slip to 149-4.
But the hosts steadied the innings, eventually reaching 249 before being bowled out.
Opener James Burton top-scored with a knock of 85.
Alrewas looked to be cruising to victory as they reduced the visitors to 86-4.
But opener Joshua Sharratt proved a tough nut to crack as he piled on 104 runs before becoming the ninth man to fall with the score on 247.
Last man Adam Leigh had one ball to try and secure the win, but he could only find two runs as both sides saw the game tied.
