MOTORISTS are being warned of delays due to roadworks on a key route into Lichfield.
Temporary four-way traffic lights have been installed at the junction of the A5127 Burton Road and Oak Way in Streethay in place of the permanent signals.
The permit for the "remedial" works runs until 25th September, but drivers are already facing delays as traffic backs up towards the A38 slip road.
It is the latest set of roadworks facing Streethay residents who have seen the closure of the A38 northbound slip road extended for six months.
