LICHFIELD City will take a welcome break from their league woes when they launch their FA Cup campaign this weekend.
Matty Lovatt's men have been beaten in all four of their competitive fixtures so far this season.
But they will be able to focus elsewhere this afternoon (22nd August) as they head to Lye Town.
The hosts play a league below City in the Midland Football League Premier Division where they have won one of their three fixtures so far.
But Lye did beat Stone Old Alleynians in the last round of the FA Cup to set up their clash with Lichfield.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
