Fundraiser launched following death of boy on A38 in Lichfield

A fundraiser has been launched to support the family of a seven-year-old boy who died after being hit by a car on the A38.

A FUNDRAISER has been launched to support the family of a seven-year-old boy who died after being hit by a car on the A38.

The incident happened at 5am on Saturday at the junction with the A5206.

More than £2600 has already been raised following the seven-year-old’s death.

A spokesperson for the online fundraiser said:

“The incident has shook Lichfield and the family who are completely heartbroken.”

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident.

Officers are asking anyone with relevant dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time to contact officers on 101, quoting incident 109 of 7th March.
