The future of another Lichfield retailer is in doubt after photography firm Jessops went into administration.
The company – which employs around 2,000 staff across the UK – has a store in the Three Spires Shopping Centre.
Administrators have already confirmed some shops will close although no conformation of which ones has yet been made.
Joint administrator Rob Hunt told the BBC: “Trading in the stores is hoped to continue today. However, in the current economic climate it is inevitable that there will be store closures.”
Should the Lichfield shop be axed it would be another blow to the city’s retail landscape which has seen the likes of Woolworths, TJ Hughes and Currys disappear in recent years.
