THE future of a Lichfield shop has been thrown into doubt after the company was put into administration.
Modella Capital only purchased Claire’s back in September after it had previously closed 145 stores.
But now the company said it would be placing both Claire’s and The Original Factory Shop into administration, leaving the Bore Street outlet’s future in doubt.
A spokesperson for Modella Capital, said:
“We have worked intensively in an effort to save both businesses, having made last-ditch attempts to rescue them, but neither has a realistic possibility of trading profitably again.
“In these circumstances, administration is the only option.”
