THE Green Party’s candidate for a forthcoming Lichfield City Council by-election says he is “delighted” to be chosen to contest the seat.
The Stowe ward vote will take place on 13th February following the resignation of Scott Hollingsworth.
The Green Party’s candidate will be Lichfield resident David Melhuish, who has previoulsy campaigned on social and environmental issues.
He said:
“I’m delighted to be selected to represent the Green Party in Stowe and the opportunity to bring some fresh thinking to Lichfield City Council.”
