The Lichfield Garrick is set to welcome back a production of Haunting Julia before it heads for the Riverside Studios in London.

The Garrick Rep Company’s show enjoyed a sell-out success in the city and Christopher Timothy will again perform alongside Richard O’Callaghan and Dominic Hecht in the chilling tale when it returns to Lichfield from April 30 to May 14.

Adrian Jackson, Lichfield Garrick’s Artistic and Executive Director, said:

“This is the second time one of our in-house productions has transferred to London, showing the fantastic quality of theatre the Garrick Rep Company produces. I’m delighted Lichfield Garrick audiences will have another chance to see this remarkable drama, and would recommend booking early – going by last year’s sell-out run. “

Alan Ayckbourn’s gentle, funny, but disturbingly profound play follows the story of three men who are all coming to terms with the death of Julia – a musical prodigy. Her body was found lying in a pool of blood 12 years earlier, but did she really take her own life?

Her father Joe (Christopher Timothy) wants an answer. And, with the help of the psychic Ken and Julia’s boyfriend Andy, he intends to get one.

Tickets to see the show in Lichfield cost £10 to £18 and can be booked from www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
