Professor Roland Rotherham and chef Simon Smith are adding a Royal twist to the latest edition of their Historical Cookery shows at the Lichfield Garrick.

Audiences are invited to grab their Union Jack Flags and join in the royal knees up, when the culinary duo celebrate the Jubilee in their own unique style.
The menu will feature dishes from the Royal tables, including roast pigeon breasts in port, stilton cauliflower cheese, Cointreau crème brule and more.
A spokesperson said: “The historical cookery shows have become a firm favourite at the theatre and the Studio is the perfect setting. Told with humour, the professor guides the audience through the history of each dish while Simon cooks up each sumptuous dish before your eyes. You might even get the chance to sample the fayre afterwards.”
The Historical Cookery duo will be at the Lichfield Garrick on June 8 from 12 noon. Tickets cost £10 and can be booked from www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
