A hospital near Lichfeld has been lending support to a charity golf day.

Spire Little Aston Hospital was the main sponsor of the SecondCity 44th charity golf classic at Little Aston Golf Club, which was held to support The Arthritis Research Campaign and Norman Laud.

More than 40 teams battled it out for the top prize which went to one of Spire Little Aston’s teams made up of Dr Ope Manocha, Craig Swinburn, Dr Lynne Sheldrake and Consultant Mike Moloney.

A spokesperson for the hospital said:

“Events like this help with Little Aston’s aim of working with the local community and businesses whenever possible.  On the day the hospital was offering blood checks with their nurse and balance tests with their physiotherapists, to illustrate some of the services Little Aston can offer patients in the local area.”
