A VAST amount of retro, modern and classic toys will go under the hammer with a Lichfield auctioneer over the coming months.
Staff at Richard Winterton Auctioneers are currently working their way through three large collections from different clients, with the first items scheduled for a sale on 29th July.
Among the items up for grabs are a large amount of modern die-cast models and slot racing cars, mostly boxed and sealed, with brands including Scalextric, Minichamps, Spark, Mythos, CMR and CMC, plus unbuilt kits.
Also upcoming are sealed, boxed, limited edition and discontinued – or 'retired’ – sets of LEGO, as well as action figures and models.
Auctioneer Ben Winterton said:
"We currently have a vast amount of all types of retro, modern, vintage and classic toys.
"When it comes to auction day, time and again we see collectors motivated by the emotional pull of childhood nostalgia and personal attachment to popular franchises.
"We are well-stocked with everything from LEGO and action figures to die-cast and live steam models and our next few upcoming sales will feature plenty of sought-after collectables."
