PLANS have been drawn up which could see 270 new homes built on land in Whittington.
A screening opinion application – which determines whether an environmental impact assessment will be needed in a later full request for planning permission – has been submitted to Lichfield District Council for the site at Sheepwash Farm on Fisherwick Road.
The proposals would also see the creation of a public open space alongside the new homes.
