The result may not have been what they wanted, but Chasetown FC did secure a new attendance record in their play-off final defeat against Belper Town.
A total of 2,500 fans packed into The Scholars Ground to eclipse the previous best set when Cardiff City visited in the club’s historic FA Cup tie.
