A NEW project is offering advice and support for residents living in three areas of Lichfield.
Mindset Matters will launch tomorrow (11th September) and offer monthly advice sessions in Fradley, Kings Bromley and Streethay.
It has been funded by the HS2 Fund and gives residents the chance to speak directly with trained advisers on a range of topics, including household budgeting, digital inclusion and energy efficiency.
Wendy Dee, CEO of Citizens Advice South East Staffordshire, said:
"People should be able to access trusted advice when they need it, wherever they live. We know that travelling to an office is not always easy and that some people can feel uncertain about asking for help.
"Mindset Matters allows us to bring our advisers directly into these communities, making support more visible, welcoming and accessible.
"This project is about much more than resolving individual problems. It is about helping people feel informed, confident and connected. By reaching residents earlier, we can help prevent difficulties from escalating and ensure that nobody feels they must face a problem alone."
The first advice session will be held at bod in Streethay from 10am to midday tomorrow. They will then take place at the venue on the second Friday of every month.
Sessions will also be held at Kings Bromley Village Hall on the third Wednesday of each month, from 10am to 12pm, beginning on 16th September, and Fradley Village Hall on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 1pm to 3pm, beginning on 22nd September.
Mindset Matters will also offer mental health workshops delivered by a counsellor.For further information, email office@casestaffs.org.uk.
