IMAGES have been released after a fly-tipping incident in Alrewas.
Environmental Protection Officers at Lichfield District Council are trying to identify a man captured on camera dumping green waste and a tarpaulin on Burton Road on 23rd July.
They are also investigating a separate fly-tipping incident at the same location earlier in July, involving slabs and building waste.
A white Fiat Doblo Cargo van is suspected of being used in connection with both incidents.
Checks carried out to date have been unsuccessful and officers currently believe the vehicle may be incorrectly registered and has no valid tax or MOT.
Staffordshire Police have been informed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Cllr Richard Cox, Cabinet Member for Community and Public Protection, said:
"Fly-tipping has a real impact on our communities and we are determined to identify and take action against those responsible.
"Our officers investigate incidents, gather evidence and use tools including surveillance cameras to help identify offenders.
"I would urge anyone who recognises the man or the vehicle, or has any information that could assist our investigation, to come forward. Even a small piece of information could help.
"Information can be provided anonymously – our priority is identifying the person and vehicle involved."
