A series of four lectures exploring the impact of World War One on music, art, society and religion are taking place at Lichfield Cathedral.
The sessions form part of the Consequence of War exhibition which features work by Henry Moore, Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska.
The lectures are:
- May 2: Modes of War: Music in the wake of World War One by Dr Philip Lancaster
- May 16: Art for a Transitional Age: Henry Moore 1914-1959 by Dr Hannah Higham
- May 22: A Country Shaped by War: The Social Consequences of the First World War by Prof Gary Sheffield
- May 30: Conflict and Faith: The Impact of the First World War by the Very Revd Adrian Dorber
