People in Lichfield and Burntwood are being asked to have their say on the future of rail travel in the region.
A new survey by Staffordshire County Council is looking to identify key areas in need of improvement, as well as views on the controversial HS2 rail link.
“Our vision for Staffordshire is for a connected county and a key element of this is a sustainable and efficient rail network which supports economic growth and prosperity,” said County Councillor Mark Winnington. “To achieve this, it is vital that we talk to people to find out what they think and more importantly what they need from a modern rail network.
“Whilst we have limited direct powers regarding rail travel we can use our findings and influence to work with partners to ensure that Staffordshire has an effective rail network that is fit for the future.”
