A firm of Lichfield architects have been selected for the national finals of a building conservation competition.

Brownhill Hayward Brown will be hoping to add the Building Conservation Award to their success earlier this year in the Regional finals of the RICS Building Conservation Awards which recognised their sensitive repair and restoration of a 17th Century Malthouse.

The building, within the grounds of Harvington Hall, a Grade I listed Manor House in Worcestershire, dates back to the 14th Century.

The Bird Street based practice is one of 30 organisations which will go through to the finals at The Guildhall, London, on October 15.
