A LICHFIELD bank could shut its doors for the final time later this year.
The Conduit Street branch of Halifax has been included on a list of future closures by Lloyds Banking Group.
In total, 48 Halifax sites across the country and 31 Lloyds Bank locations are set to shut as part of the latest wave of closures.
It follows the announcement of 95 branches shutting earlier this year.
The company said the majority of the sites earmarked for closure were within a mile of another one from its other banking brands.
National reports suggest the Lichfield Halifax branch could close in October.
