A Lichfield-based food producer has completed a deal to take control of Salads To Go.
Salad producer Soléco UK, part of the Florette company, acquired the Lancashire-based business for an undisclosed sum.
Trade publication FreshInfo has reported that the two businesses will continue to run independently from their bases in Skelmersdale and Lichfield.
Mark Newton, managing director of Soléco UK, told FreshInfo:
“The prepared salads category has become a mature market, and we firmly believe that the bringing together of Soléco UK and Salads To Go will help the continued development of both companies.”
