A LOCAL business has launched a new series of videos to highlight the challenges facing those with hearing problems.
Cathedral Hearing has interviewed patients to find out more about the feelings they have to help break down barriers to getting treatment and help.
Owner Laura Evans said she was keen to ensure people were able to understand that help was at hand.
“Taking good care of your hearing health can greatly improve your quality of life and general health and wellbeing.
“It is common for people to put off coming for a hearing check due to misconceptions and mystery surrounding the process.
“The truth is, going for a hearing check is as simple and easy as getting your eyes tested
or attending your routine dental check-up.
“Subtle changes in hearing can occur gradually over time and regular testing is important to pick these up so that they can be monitored.
“It was wonderful to hear our patients share their stories and I hope it will help to reassure and empower others to take control of their ear health.”
