A Lichfield butchers shop has been saved after a management takeover.
The future of Walter Smith, on Market Street in the city, was put in doubt after the firm went into administration.
But, according to the Express & Star, the future of all 20 of the businesses stores across the Midlands has been secured after the management took control of the company as part of a deal engineered with administrators PKF.
A statement from PKF explained:
“The trade and assets were purchased from the administrators by the existing directors and management team. The restructuring has secured all jobs.”
