LICHFIELD City return to action this weekend with a home tie against Wellingborough Town.
Ivor Green’s squad has been boosted by a number of new faces as they look to push for a play-off spot in the second half of the season.
A number of weather-related postponements have thwarted City’s efforts to improve on their current tenth place in the league – but they know a win tomorrow (17th January) could see them climb as high as sixth in the table.
Standing in their way will be a Wellingborough side who sit one place above Lichfield courtesy of a better goal difference.
Kick-off tomorrow is at 3pm.
