LICHFIELD City Women will get their league campaign up and running this weekend.
They take on Coundon Court on the back of a pre-season schedule which has seen the Trade Tyre Community Stadium side play seven fixtures.
A spokesperson said:
"A huge thank you to every club who hosted us and to everyone who travelled to the Trade Tyre Stadium throughout the summer.
"Every fixture has played an important part in our preparations, and we appreciate all of the support."
City will hope to get off to a flying start tomorrow (16th August) against a Coundon Court side who finished eighth of the 12 teams in the West Midlands Regional Women's League Premier Division last season.
Kick-off at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium is at 2pm.
