A Lichfield District Councillor has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Cllr Margaret Stanhope received the title for services to local government and the community.
The long-serving Conservative councillor for the Alrewas and Fradley ward currently serves on a number of committees across Lichfield District Council.
