Stowe Pool could be set for a major revamp if a bid for £1million from the Heritage Lottery Fund is successful.

Lichfield District Council is hoping to win the money to pay for improvements such as a new entrance, play area and refurbished paths.
But the local authority also wants to hear from local residents about how else the funding could be spent if the bid is successful.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinetmember for parks, said: “Stowe Pool is a popular open space in the heart of Lichfield and we’re keen to secure this funding so we can bring it up to the quality of Beacon Park, Minster Pool and the Garden of Remembrance, which underwent extensive restoration works in 2010 and 2011 as part of our Lichfield Historic Parks Project.”
The council will be collecting ideas at a drop-in workshop at the Discovery Hub in Beacon Park on November 28, between 10am and 3pm.
People can also give their views online before December 31.
