A Lichfield fish and chip shop is one of three businesses to win a customer service award.
Trent Valley Fish Bar picked up the Swift Award in a national campaign to find local companies across the UK that deliver quick, reliable and best value service.
The awards also saw Amber Driving School and St John Street Garage impress the judges and all three firms will now be featured on www.SwiftRelief.co.uk, an online directory that gathers together Britain’s best local businesses.
Trent Valley Fish Bar impressed the judges with its personal approach to providing excellent customer service. Manager Rav Singh said:
“I’m passionate about what I do, and always greet customers personally and do my utmost to make sure that they enjoy themselves.
“We also listen to our customers. We responded to the credit crunch by introducing special deals, making our already competitive prices even lower.”
Amber Driving School instructor Amanda Wardle said of the award:
“We offer some of the lowest prices in the area, but this doesn’t mean that we compromise on quality. I personally tailor all lessons to suit individual students’ requirements.”
The organisers of the Swift Awards are calling on more businesses from Lichfield to put themselves forward for the scheme. To be considered for the award, businesses can either nominate themselves or encourage customers to nominate them via the official awards site www.swiftrelief.co.uk. Nominated businesses are assessed by an independent panel of judges and a team of mystery shoppers. There is no fee to enter.
