The Lichfield Garrick has unveiled a number of star names as part of its summer and autumn season.
Among the famous faces set to take to the stage between May and December are Billy Ocean, John Sergeant, Jim Davidson, Joe Brown, Derek Martin, Joe Pasquale and Tony Christie.
Adrian Jackson, the Lichfield Garrick’s executive and artistic director, said:
“I’m delighted to launch our new season, which once again features a huge variety of shows for the whole family. We’re delighted to welcome back some of our most popular performers, as well as a fabulous line up of artistes who are taking to the Lichfield Garrick stage for the first time.
“Our Christmas production of A Christmas Carol is set to be another spectacular show, and we will be announcing the cast soon. With the popular series of free live music and our new Saturday Club for six to 11-year-olds running throughout the summer and autumn, the Lichfield Garrick is bursting with energy and well worth a visit.”
There are also a number of tribute nights on the way, including The Bohemians, Rob Kingsley – A Vision of Elvis, and Them Beatles.
Entertainment for children will include Mr Benn, October half term with Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and the Christmas production of A Christmas Carol.
Budding performers, aged six to 11, will also be able to take part in the new Saturday Dee Gee’s Club at the theatre. Starting on May 21, the club will be chance for young people to explore their creativity through singing, dancing and drama. The club costs £4 a week and will run every Saturday, from 10am to 12noon.
