The organisers of Lichfield’s first half-marathon say they are on course to hit their target of 1,200 entrants.
The event, which takes place on May 1, has already seen nearly 1,000 runners sign up.
The Salts Techstep Lichfield Half-Marathon has also linked up with running shoe maker New Balance.
Kevin Wilson, of event organisers KP Events of Lichfield, said:
“Having New Balance and Salts Techstep on board is massive in terms of credibility for the event and with the entry now reaching maximum numbers, that too shows that people want to do it – and we have entries from all over the UK too.”
