Campaigners in Lichfield have lit a beacon to help raise awareness of their fight to stop a new high speed rail line.
Protesters from Lichfield Action Group joined other organisations along the route of the new HS2 line in lighting a chain of beacons.
Packington Moor Farm, one of the businesses affected by the planned route, was the scene of the symbolic action last night (February 28).
More than 350 residents turned out to see the beacon being lit.
