A Lichfield legal firm has announced a sponsorship deal with a local non-league football club.
Ansons Solicitors – which also has offices in Cannock – have agreed the tie-up with Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division side Hednesford Town.
Jas Singh, partner at Ansons Solicitors, said:
“It gives us all at Ansons great pleasure to support both the leading local football club and also through the club the local community.
“Hednesford Town FC is a sleeping giant which with support from the local business community could achieve promotion and revive the FA Cup runs which brought South Staffordshire to national prominence in the mid-nineties.”
In addition to the sponsorship deal, Ansons has pledged to help the club raise funds for the re-establishment of its youth team to give talented local youngsters an opportunity to progress into semi-professional football.
