There was a major shock in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side league as Ash Bennett was at his best in Norfolk’s 7-0 dismissal of fellow front-runners Ice Pack.
Things were much tighter in division one, but bottom side Hexis FC Legends were one of a pair of 1-0 victors, picking up their first victory of the season against Boley Explosion.
Walk of Shame moved top of the Lichfield Monday league on goal difference, crushing Pig and Truffle 5-0, with Dr Johnson and Family United winning 2-0 in division one.
However it was elsewhere in the second tier that perhaps the most important victory occurred and Banana Grove move top after sneaking home 3-2 against FC PWN.
Finally in the Tuesday league Sporting still fancy their chances of finishing top after their 5-1 crushing of Lichfield Crown.
