Lichfield’s MP has said he is “totally pissed off” after a vote against an EU referendum.
He described members of the Lords as “unelected arrogant fools against democracy” after they opted not to spend more time debating the proposal.
The EU referendum plan saw 122 Labour Lords and 48 Lib Dem Lords vote against it – prompting Michael Fabricant’s online backlash.
