A Lichfield software company has secured £250,000 worth of funding to help market their products abroad.

Sytems Integration have secured the deal with investment company Catapult Venture Managers as part of a fund to push their software into the meat processing market in North America and the UK, according to a report in the Birmingham Post.

Catapult director Graham Mold told the Birmingham Post:

“The meat industry is relatively low tech and under pressure from both rising costs and low margins. Therefore, SI’s software – designed to improve profitability by ensuring meat is weighed and cut precisely – will help the sector maximise the profit on each animal.”
